One word comes to mind - WOW! I came to Dr. Lesko two weeks ago with problems I had learned to accept as “normal.” I suffered with severe migraine headaches 5 days out of the week and spent much of my time confined to my dark bedroom. My lower back was swollen from an accident 14 years ago, I only slept about 5 hours on average every night and I started losing feeling in my toes. My neck would lock up completely for weeks to months at a time and sharp pains would shoot down my right leg from my hip.
I no longer enjoyed everyday activities such as cycling, swimming and working with my students at school because I was in so much pain. I had accepted this as “normal.”
After only 2 weeks of treatments, I have no migraines, feeling has returned to my toes, swelling in my lower back is almost non-existent and I sleep all the way through the night!

The first day into see Dr. Mark C. Lesko at Community Chiropractic I received a valuable education through absorbing and asking questions out of the literature I was given to read. Basically, I learned that the wellness of the spine directly affects the wellness of the entire body. I also learned that chiropractic health care prioritizes finding and fixing problems over the irritation of just treating symptoms...
The initial x-ray revealed that my neck was out of alignment by eleven degrees; the pressure of the weight of my head in this position certainly contributed to my continuous episodes of dealing with migraine headaches. The very first adjustment made a difference and the congestion in my head started to drain and my ears were unclogged. After a period of adjustments and other treatments within a short three month time frame, my neck is closer to proper alignment by a whopping eight degrees! I’m no longer constantly reaching for migraine headache relief.Overall, the sessions with Dr. Lesko and his team were absolutely in harmony with my quest to aspire for quality health. This experience has been necessary motivation for me to know that my goals are both reasonable and reachable.

I extend my sincere thanks & gratitude to your entire staff. A life of very physical sports, including surfing, soccer, wake boarding, motocross an mountain bike racing, to name a few, have taken their toll. Though I wouldn’t change a thing, I had resigned myself to living with the appurtenant back and leg pain for the rest of my life.
Unfortunately, the severity had grown to such an extent, not a week went by that at least a few nights were spent sleepless. The impact to both general physical condition and work productivity had become such that, with great trepidation, I began researching various surgical procedures. A co-worker had suffered similar issues several years back and I queried him about what course of treatment he had taken. His reply surprised me: an intense chiropractic regimen followed by occasional adjustments, had cleared up his severe back pain completely and he was back to an active sports regimen.
A true skeptic, but left with little to loose, I decided to give chiropractic a try. A little research lead me to your practice, and I am more than pleasantly surprised to report, the results have been astonishing. Your facility is well equipped with various rehabilitative equipment and staff who are trained in its use. The regimen goes beyond what many would associate with chiropractic care, toward sports medical care. Though we are only 6 weeks into the program, each consecutive week, I have spent more time absolutely pain free. This in stark contrast to the severe and debilitating back pain I had been suffering non-stop as of 6 weeks past. A year ago, I would have scoffed at such results. Today, I STRONGLY recommend that anyone suffering back pain try chiropractic care. What greater testament than this: My wife is one of Dr. Lesko’s newest patients.
